Women ride too!

You need the right bike set up, your own accessories, components and clothing.

We have a good range of women's clothing from Fox, Endura & Scott. We also have a selection of demo bikes for you to try as well as a reputation for preparing bikes with the right setup for our female customers.

Each month we have a girls only mountain bike ride on the South Downs as well as a girls only road ride.  All abilities are welcome from total beginners to seasoned riders. Skills coaching is available. Check out the Events page or register for the newsletter to keep up with the ride dates.

We sell lots of bikes to women and do our best to make sure that we have all that you need for your riding. We can't have everything but we do try to have the essentials: shorts, gloves, saddles and helmets.

Women's bikes

When choosing a bike you need the right one for your riding and the right fit. There loads of bikes out there and we are skilled in helping you find the right one. There are women's specific bikes some of which have different geometery (the frames are different to the other bikes in the range) and some just have different colours, saddles, handle bars and parts. In our experience women's shapes vary as much as men's and so simply saying women specific in the catalogue won't neccessarily mean that it is right for you. We encourage you to try the bikes and always make any adjustments to the bike to ensure that it is tailored just for you.

Pearl Izumi Road Fuel SPD shoe   This is a great off-road shoe perfect for spinning.  We sell more MTB clip less shoes to women in spin classes than we do for women off road riders. If the static cyclists are aware of the efficacy of clip in pedals why is it that the road and off road cyclist choose to work nearly twice as hard as they need to using normal pedals?

SheWee - great for any outdoors girls and festival goers. SheWee - all colours now in stock. We usually avoid sexism here at Quest Adventure but this really is one for ladies only! The SheWee solves the problems of baring all on a bleak hillside, filthy race-day portable toilets or accidentally squatting on a nettle whilst trying to maintain your dignity. It's basically a discreet plastic funnel that enables you to stop for a leak without having to remove your clothing.
