Commuter

Based on Whyte’s high performance mountain bike geometry, all these Fast Urban bikes have a long wheelbase and relaxed head angle for high speed stability, and a shorter stem for excellent slow speed manoeuvrability. A custom rear dropout allows Whyte to mount the rear hydraulic disc brake calliper inside the rear triangle.

Whyte have a range of cyclocross bikes ideal for racing through the dirt or through the traffic. A cross bike's abillty to deal with the dirt makes it an ideal commuter. The ride postion is more upright than a road racing bike and the disc brakes allow you to fit full mudguards and a rack if you want to use it to ride to work.

If you want to go off road then this'll be the best value cyclocross that you can buy. All you need to do is change the slick road tyres for cyclocross knobbies.
