Darren wheel building

Workshop

Quest Adventure has a very busy and Park Tool equiped workshop staffed by CyTech qualified mechanics

We build wheels to the highest standard. Suspension bikes, forks and disc brakes are all serviced in house

We are skilled at setting up suspension bikes and hold a database of shock settings for all of our customers. This helps us to fine tune your bike each time you visit helping you get the most out of your bike.

You have a responsibility to service your bike regularly. Call us to discuss what you might need to protect your investment, ensure trouble free riding and to comply with the manufacturers warranty.

Booking in a job

  • Any competent bike shop will usually be booked up 1 or 2 weeks ahead. We are no different from your car garage or your doctor.
  • YOU NEED TO BOOK EARLY. Call to arrange a time for your service.
  • Remember that if you are planning an event/holiday/trip to Wales make sure that you allow enough time to book your bike in.

Expert advice:

We have been working with all types of bikes for years and have a vast pool of knowledge between us to be able to offer expert advice. Every week we have riders visiting with questions about upgrading their bikes, changing discs or shocks and adjusting the set up to make their bike more comfortable.

Philosophy - 'Try before you buy':

We would expect every bike to be tested by any new buyer. If it is a full suspension mountain bike or road bike we probably have a test bike or can get one for you to try. We still let every customer try each bike around the block to ensure that the size and fit and correct.

Comfort garuantee

We specialise in setting up bikes for our customers. The saddle position, stem and handle bar position can all be adjusted to ensure a comfortable ride. We will even change the stem if it helps improve your comfort. If necessary we will even change the stem free of charge once you have ridden the bike for a week to make sure that the bike is just right for you.

All of our bikes sold with a free first service

Every customer is invited back for a free first service within the first 2 months to ensure that all is running well and in tip top condition. This is an ideal time to pick tips on how to ride, where to ride and what you might need to get to further add to your riding experience.
