WILIER MORTIROLO VELOCE £1,799
The full Carbon monocoque main frame cycling plus gave the frame 10/10. This is the same frame that has received so many accolades used on the cheaper Mortirolo Mirage but this bike uses the beautiful Campagnolo Veloce groupset. This bike is incredilbly good value for money with a groups set to last and frame perrfect for racing but really a winner when used on long sportive rides: it is light and comfortable.

WILIER MORTIROLO MIRAGE £1,499
The Wilier Mortirolo has probably received more to reviews than an other bike in the last couple of years. It either wins or comes second often to some much better spec'ced bikes. Why? They all claim that, for the money, the frame is excellent, usually the best in the test. Comfortable and light it is the perfect entry level carbon road racing frame but where it excels is for the sportive rider. Check the reviews in Cycling Weekly and Cycling Plus. Another point, not to be overlooked, it is oozes Italian style.

SCOTT CR1 PRO 2010 £2,499
Scott have always had the lightest bikes, now, with the new CR1, they have the most comfortable. Light because of the IMP technology (one piece front triangle) Comfortable because of the profile of the seat and chainstays combined with a clever layup of the carbon weave. (0.6mm of vertical deflection with 100kg on the saddle - Suspension for the road!) The much loved geometry of the original CR1remains but the head tube is taller so making the CR1 the perfect all day bike. The number one choice for a sportive.

SCOTT ADDICT R2 2010 £2,699
What a claim? The lightest and the fastest! Who's going to dispute that Scott have always had the lightest bikes and with the Addict they set out to raise the bar again. As for the fastest, I think that Mark Canvendish has proved a few things here. Pure performance!
